Ferrovia Tech Private Limited is led by women entrepreneurs, drawing on a family background in engineering.

Ferrovia Tech manufactures electrical and electro-mechanical components for Indian Railways rolling stock. We are an RDSO-approved source for the High Capacity Inter Vehicular Coupler – 500A, and ICF/RCF approved for Wheel Set Earthing Equipment.

Our range covers current transfer, switching, driver control and braking: wheel set earthing equipment, earth return brushes with holder assemblies, inter vehicular couplers, UIC plugs and sockets, dynamic braking, ST/STA and GFD contactors, general purpose relays, master controllers, flex ball remote control cables, all-steel lock nuts, and brake pad holders and calipers.

We manufacture by investment casting to micron tolerances, producing near-net-shape components that need no secondary machining. Eliminating that step removes the dimensional variation that machining introduces and gives consistent repeatability across production batches — which matters on safety-related items carried on every coach and locomotive.

Every component is validated in our in-house electrical and mechanical testing laboratory before dispatch, on calibrated instrumentation traceable to national standards. We hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification from a NABCB accredited body under the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement.

Ferrovia Tech is a women-owned Micro and Small Enterprise, Udyam-registered and registered with NSIC, manufacturing at Howrah, West Bengal since 2017.​

Our purpose is import substitution. Every product in our range replaces a part that Indian Railways would otherwise buy from abroad — designed, cast, machined and tested in India, in line with Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

We work as a development partner rather than a supplier of catalogue parts, offering engineering support from drawing stage through qualification, production and after-sales service.
